Holy Cow!
This blog is officially dedicated to shameless advertising for TxMQ’s Engineering Division (my division).
First thing’s first, Happy New Year!
Secondly, get ready for a rip roaring hiring blitz over the coming months.
As you know, most signs previous to 2012 pointed to a nice and steady hiring increase this year. Based on my FIRST DAY BACK TO WORK in 2012, I may have to hold onto my britches because suddenly things are moving forward at a lightning pace!
Within my first 5 hours of work in 2012, two of my candidates were made job offers, two of my candidates were set up for 2nd round interviews, and three of my candidates were set up for 1st round or phone interviews. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen this much forward momentum in a week of work, let alone ½ a day!
I’m sweating from the furious referencing and phone calling and contract negotiating!
SO – in the spirit of a new year (and hopefully a new job if that’s what your looking for) GET YOUR @$$ IN GEAR because if you’re not on the train when it leaves the station then you’re SOL (shit outta luck).
